Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Preview Performance?

A preview performance is the first time the the show performs in front of an audience.  The director and designers will be on hand watching the performance along with the audience and will take note of audience reactions and any adjustments that need to be made to the production.  Those adjustments will be made at the final rehearsal the next day before the Opening Night performance.

What time should I arrive? What if I'm running late?

We recommend arriving 30-minutes prior to the curtain time of the performance, which is printed on your ticket and also on our website. Please be advised that the house manager will seat late arrivals at his or her discretion, but only in seats at the rear of the theatre, subject to availability.  Sometimes delays are beyond one’s direct control, but being at the theatre before curtain time prevents disrupting our actors and your fellow patrons.  Please allow yourself ample time so that you don’t miss a minute of the show!

How long is the performance?

We will post run times for our productions as we get closer to show opening.

Is there food available on site?

We offer a variety of soft drinks, coffee, tea, and bottled water along with a variety of snacks at our concessions stand.  Please note that only bottled water may be taken into the theatres.

May I bring my children?

We welcome theatre goers of all ages! For safety reasons all patrons, large and small, require tickets. Children must be able to sit in a seat by themselves and enjoy a full-length production (about two hours); babes in arms are not permitted. Strollers are not allowed in the theatre.  Parents are always the best judge of what is appropriate for their child.

Where can I pick up my tickets?

Tickets can be picked up at the Arts Box Office in the lobby.  The box office is open one hour prior to curtain for your convenience. You can also opt to print your tickets at home when purchasing online.  Please note that our scanners are not currently equipped to read bar codes on mobile devices.

What if I can't find my ticket?

Please call the box office during box office hours and our staff will help you.  If you realize that you’ve misplaced your ticket the night of the performance, please plan to arrive early so that our box office staff can assist you.  The box office opens one hour prior to every performance.

Is it still possible for me to see the show if it is listed as sold out?

Sometimes patrons return tickets to us the night of the performance and we make them available for sale, so it is possible, but you will need to take your chances in a standby line.

I am with a school, retirement home, social group. How do I arrange a visit?

Groups of 20 or more attending a single perfromance receive a reduced ticket price.  Please call our box office and a staff memeber will be happy to help you!
