Wig and Makeup Designer

Karman Boisset graduated from JMU in 2009 and jumped into wigs and makeup at the Santa Fe Opera, the Dallas Opera, Signature Theatre, Annapolis Opera, and the Charlottesville Opera. She’s been wig and makeup run crew, wig mistress, wig builder, and designer in her career. She’s the recipient of the wig and makeup apprentice technician award (2008). She’s currently the adjunct stage makeup professor at JMU, a wig and makeup assistant at Charlottesville Opera, the wig and makeup designer for JMU opera, and Fear Forest’s makeup crew in Harrisonburg, VA
