Time, distance, and even war itself, are no match for the power of the pen in this charming, funny, and moving play from award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig. Ludwig captures the love story of his parents, U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig and aspiring showgirl Louise Rabiner. The two strangers meet by letter during World War II and embark on a romantic courtship amidst the uncertainty of war. Each time an envelope opens, audiences get a clearer glimpse into a beautiful love story – signed, sealed and delivered straight from the heart.
Ken Ludwig’s Dear Jack, Dear Louise is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
